One day, at a party for Millie, Annabel said to Mellany: "I've got a great idea for a story. Let's do it together to entertain our little ones (and hopefully, some other little ones too)."
"Great!" said Mellany, "I'll do the pictures and help with the words." And so, Haven Harbour was born...

We wanted to re-create the nostalgic feel of books we were read as children, with a modern twist. We asked Jesse at Design Holborn to help make it happen; then Paul at Generation Press told us what could (and couldn't!) be done with the printing until 'Millie's Mayday' finally became a lovely little book: perfectly-sized for bedtime reading, with a 'Map of the World' as a special surprise. The book has been made with care and love, and we hope it will be cherished by children for many years to come.

'Millie's Mayday' is just the beginning - so watch this space.
